ASV | Hebrews 11:1, 11:6

1Now faith is assurance of `things' hoped for, a conviction of things not seen.

6And without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing `unto him'; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and `that' he is a rewarder of them that seek after him. full context

ASV | Romans 1:17

17For therein is revealed a righteousness of God from faith unto faith: as it is written, But the righteous shall live by faith. full context

Genuine faith in God allows a person to rest and enjoy life.

Faith is being sure that God is taking care of things better than any human hands ever could, even better than your own human hands.  When we stop living by our own strength that's when we're able to really start doing what's right ("aka living righteous"). Because we have our full faith in the one who created everything.

ASV | Luke 7:2, 7:7 - 7:10

2And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear unto him, was sick and at the point of death.

7wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say the word, and my servant shall be healed.

8For I also am a man set under authority, having under myself soldiers: and I say to this one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

9And when Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned and said unto the multitude that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

10And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole. full context

ASV | Matthew 17:15, 17:18 - 17:21

15Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is epileptic, and suffereth grievously; for oft-times he falleth into the fire, and off-times into the water.

18And Jesus rebuked him; and the demon went out of him: and the boy was cured from that hour.

19Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast it out?

20And he saith unto them, Because of your little faith: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

21`But this kind goeth not out save by prayer and fasting.' full context

ASV | Mark 2:3 - 2:5, 2:11 - 2:12

3And they come, bringing unto him a man sick of the palsy, borne of four.

4And when they could not come nigh unto him for the crowd, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed whereon the sick of the palsy lay.

5And Jesus seeing their faith saith unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins are forgiven.

11I say unto thee, Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thy house.

12And he arose, and straightway took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion. full context

ASV | Matthew 9:28 - 9:30

28And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.

29Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it done unto you.

30And their eyes were opened. And Jesus strictly charged them, saying, See that no man know it. full context

ASV | Mark 10:51 - 10:52

51And Jesus answered him, and said, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? And the blind man said unto him, Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.

52And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And straightway he received his sight, and followed him in the way. full context

ASV | Matthew 9:20 - 9:22

20And behold, a woman, who had an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the border of his garment:

21for she said within herself, If I do but touch his garment, I shall be made whole.

22But Jesus turning and seeing her said, Daughter, be of good cheer; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. full context

God created all of existence by His word.  And He will use that same word to move miraculously in your life.  Genuinely loving God and worshipping God is how your faith in God becomes strong.  God is constantly working miracles in the life of those who have their faith in Him.

Receiving the full blessings of God requires placing your full faith in Him.  When life becomes uncomfortable, place your faith in God instead of trusting in your own strength.  If the world entices, keep your faith in God instead of short-term fulfillment.  Faith in God is not always the easy or comfortable road, but it's always the best road to be on.

if a person asks Jesus for a true humble thoughtless request (prayer),and they believe that he has already answered it or has granted it before they asked. Then you know what faith is.
