Marriage is one of the greatest blessings God gives us. It's the core of community living, and key to living The Good Life.
Marriage is modeled after the relationship God has with himself, where multiple distinct individuals become one entity... This is usually called the Trinity. Marriage is "the other" model of the Trinity in scripture (i.e. Husband, Wife, Image of God). These 3 are intended to be one.
So marriage is extremely important to God. In marriage we experience the fullness of God's love and joy. Our responsibility is to regard our marriage as sacred and to praise God for the blessing of marriage He's given to us!
